Palomar Hills 2024 Swimming Pool Rules & Schedules

Family Pool (25-Meter, 6-Lane Lap)
Open:  Saturday, May 25 through Labor Day, Monday, September 2.

Summer Hours of Operation:

Weekdays: May 30 – July 12 – Noon – 9pm

Weekdays: July 15 – August 13 – 10am – 9pm

Weekends: May 25 – August 11 – 10am – 9pm

 

Back To School – Hours of Operation (August 14 – Labor Day, September 2):

Weekdays: (Monday – Thursday) 4pm – 7pm

(Friday) 4pm – 9pm

Weekends: (Saturday) 10am – 9pm

(Sunday) 10am – 7pm

 

Children 12 & under may not be left at the Family pool unattended. Children must be accompanied and supervised by a person at least 16 years of age or older. Parents are fully responsible for conduct of their children. Persons 20 years old and younger must be under lifeguard supervision and therefore must use lap pool.

Palomar Piranhas Swim Team

The Palomar Piranhas are a neighborhood supported swim team offering young people from our community the opportunity to swim competitively during the summer. Many of these swimmers return to the Palomar Pool as young adults to serve as lifeguards!

Palomar Piranhas swim team practice in the lap pool Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – Noon; from May 30 – July 12, 2024.

 All pools will close at 4pm when there is a Palomar Piranha’s home swim meet. Home swim meet dates for 2024 are as follows:

• Wednesday, June 19 vs. Wilmore
• Wednesday, June 26 vs. Waterford
• Wednesday, July 3 vs. Firebrook

Adult Pool 
Open: Saturday, May 4 – Sunday, September 22 (both dates: Weather Permitting)

Hours of Operation:

Weekdays: May 6 – September 20 – 10am – 9pm

Weekends: May 4 – September 22 – 10am – 9pm

The Adult Pool is reserved AT ALL TIMES for the exclusive use of adults 21 and over.  

During the three (3) Palomar swim meet events, the adult pool will close at 4pm.

At the Adult Pool there are no lifeguards on duty, swim at your own risk.

Baby Pool is reserved for children five years and younger or children with special needs. Children must be accompanied by a parent or responsible person within the fenced wading area at all times.

During the three (3) Palomar swim meet events, the Baby pool will be closed.
